It is our pleasure to inform you about the latest development of our 2D environment for cross sectional analysis.
In our new product CRASH CAD 2D you will find a throughout solution for design and calculation of cross sections.
Our goal while developing this new software was to combine functionalities of several individual products creating a one, complete 2D platform.
The synergy of numerous functionalities resulted in a user friendly and ergonomic solution.

You can start your work from importing a base mesh model. Inbuilt scanner functionality enables the user to scan an imported 3D model in search for a cross section. The software automatically extracts cross sections from defined positions, at the same time storing information about their location of origin. In consequence you can always view and check the analyzed cross section position in the base 3D model.
All automatically created cross sections are complete with all material data and information about plate thicknesses.
Our user friendly edit tools provide the possibility to easily and quickly create and modify cross sections either imported from mesh or created from scratch in Cross Section Editor.
Fast calculation core delivers complex results in seconds!
The Dynamic Engineering Advisor and handy help information for all tools will guide you smoothly through the process of creation of a properly defined Macro Element 2D model.

What we would like to specially underline, Cross Section created in CRASH CAD 2D is ready to be send to Cross Section Analyzer – optimization software for thin walled beams cross sections – this new product which has no direct competitor on the market allows you to analyze and optimize your cross section in minutes!
